How to interpret an analysis

A form may have several valid analyses and several possible lemmas. Agios lists these possibilities; it does not select a reading solely from the first result. Morpheus’s nominal category includes noun and adjective forms. Classical dictionaries and stem libraries have gaps in Christian, Byzantine and medieval vocabulary, personal names and scribal spellings. A missing result does not establish that a form is wrong.

Reading notes from earlier edition are retained separately. Automatic morphology and dictionary definitions are not newly verified contextual translations. Dictionary entries reproduce the digitized sources and may contain transcription errors or historical conventions.
